We met up with Julia's brother on the beach just south of L.A. Being that he lives near the ocean 24/7 we were rather amused at his beach attire. In his defense though, he had ridden his motorcycle quite a ways to meet up with us, and even on a Ducati it would be hard to look cool riding in a swimsuit.
Quite the view out of our tent in the morning! (It was actually still "morning" for us because we arrived at the park at 7a.m. after driving all night, set up our tent, and promptly slept til noon, much to the confusion of those camping near us.)
The vineyard we stayed at had grapefruit trees scattered throughout their estate. Naturally, we thought it appropriate to relieve them of some of the fruit so that they could concentrate more on their vines.
This picture is actually included mostly to prove that we did change clothes at some point in our trip. Truth be told, I was lazy and mostly only took pictures near the end of the trip.
