Exodus 19:13 "No hand shall touch him, but he shall be stoned or shot..."
Exodus 22:2-3 "If a thief is found breaking in and is struck so that he dies, there shall be no bloodguilt for him..."*
*An interesting caveat for my Bible-thumping-and-NRA-card-carrying blog followers: This verse does go on to say that you can only kill the thief if he breaks in at night. During the day it's apparently murder.
