Running the Spiritual Path

It occurred to me that I had only been posting about books I generally liked, not the ones I didn't. This is probably because I tend to not even finish a book if it hasn't pleased me by about halfway through. Here is one I gave up on halfway through just tonight: Running the Spiritual Path: A Runner's Guide to Breathing, Meditating, and Exploring the Prayerful Dimension of the Sport by Roger Joslin. At first I liked this book because it renewed my interest in running. Eventually though, I found that it lacked any real meat and was terribly organized. Admittedly, the Amazon reviews are quite high. Best I can figure, those people must have been so hungry for a book on the spiritual side of running, and given that the literature genre is very limited, they simply liked whatever book they could find on the matter.
