Newman's Own

After having visited the Vineyard Church of Austin a while back, I occasionally listen to their services online because I liked Jeff's teaching so much. Among other more valuable attributes, he is an incredible source of funny sayings and quotes. I'm convinced he must have a book of these things that he uses when preparing his sermons. Here are a few recent, heavily paraphrased quotes that I liked:

"Some of you out there are prison singing: Behind a few bars without a key."

"Some of those teenagers look like they fell face first into a tackle box."

"Never criticise a man until you have walked a mile in his shoes. That way you are a mile away and you have his shoes."

And my personal favorite:
"Who is more fulfilled: the man with 12 children or the man with a million dollars? The man with 12 children because he doesn't want any more."
