Pomegrateful

We finally decided to pick the lone pomegranate on our tree before we lost it to whatever animals have been cleaning out our fruit harvest all year long. The taste was brighter and more sour than the average grocery store pom and the kernel was bit less palatable. All-in-all, I think we picked it at a decent time for having guessed what a ripe pom looks like, but I think we will wait a little longer next year.
