For some reason our rotating selection of toilet-side reading these last few years has drawn heavily from Julia's collection of her old childhood books. Draw your own conclusions.
One of late has been a Shel Silverstein poem collection. While I was familiar with Silverstein growing up, reading them now as an adult I am struck by the sense that many of the poems can be read much deeper than their whimsical surface layer.

The potential conclusions seemed so vast I could not nail one down...or maybe I couldn't get my attention away from the semi-horrific shape of the zebra's mouth and the fact that his neck looks broken. Shane
