Gabe kept begging for us to remove his training wheels

but I kept putting it off thinking I would need to set aside

a whole saturday to teach him.  Julia took them off today

just to shut him up, but it turns out he apparently should

have had them off a long time ago.  This video is actually

of his second attempt, but it had the funnier ending.
