GreenFit (tm)

I have gone to the gym recently for the first time in years. Working out in a room with 50 other people fighting resistance machines left me with two impressions. First, this probably looks pretty silly to aliens or God, take your pick. Second, there is much money to be made for the first person to start GreenFit, or Hybrid Fitness, or EarthGym, etc... essentially a gym where all the machines used to otherwise waste exercising watts actually generate the electricity for the building itself. Imagine how easily you could sell the idea of a zero-emission gym with tons of other "green" themes/features to the membership. Heck, if you could exceed the building's power needs you could sell to the grid and use the profits to buy monthly discounts for members based on how often and hard they work-out. Even if the logistics of actually running the entire building off of treadmills, etc won't work very well, you could still power things like the fans and TVs used for that station, maybe buy offset credit for wind power in El Paso, or for goodness sake, at least power the machine itself.
