I finally took the time to start reading Wild at Heart: Discovering the Secret of a Man's Soul by John Eldredge about a decade later than everyone else. I only made it about halfway through. Although I thought the subject had a lot of potential, I thought the author did a poor job with it. I do imagine though that it might be a better book for some guys than others in terms of style and who it is written for.
I also recently read most of Following Jesus Without Embarrassing God as I had wanted to read something by Tony Campolo and it seemed the most interesting of the choices. I actually thought he was going be a lot more controversial and lots less banal. In defense of Tony, I have heard that he is suppose to be a better speaker than writer.
